In case you haven’t noticed, Dortmund has been dominating 1. Bundesliga for most of the year. However, the full name of the team is Borussia Dortmund, sharing a first name with Borussia Monchengladbach. Unless you are a history buff, this may not ring a bell, as is the case with Alemannia Aachen. German squads are also associated with numbers and acronyms. So what is the association?
